Hip Hop Mass
On Saturday - April 5th at 5:00 p.m., Grace Church
welcomes the community to witness the unification of Hip Hop
music & worship. The Hip Hop Mass is a worship service
that will present the Gospel in a way that transcends age,
gender, race, religious affiliation, & socio-economic
status. The service will follow a traditional worship order,
but incorporate hip hop to reach individuals who may otherwise
not receive God's message. The goal is to reach out to young
people & others using their language, culture &
sensibilities to communicate the word of God. The Hip Hop Mass
will take place the 1st Saturday of every month. For
more information contact outreach@gracecollegehill.org or
513-681-0743. Tell a friend or neighbor...this is an
event you do not want to miss!

| African Crafts & Jewelry Sale
Sunday - April 13 & April 27 - 11:30
a.m. Grace Church will host an African
Crafts & Jewelry Sale two Sunday's in April to support
African Team Ministries, Inc.
Founded in 1984 as an intermediary ministry
between African and American churches of the Episcopal,
Methodist, Presbyterian, and Anglican denominations, African
Team Ministries, Inc. provides funds for orphan and refugee
relief, missions and evangelism in East Africa. The
organization currently has children registered for sponsorship
in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda. Support is sent
directly to each Bishop to provide school fees, tuition,
books, and uniforms, ensuring that the children receive
education and a measure of stability needed to rebuild their
minds.
This is a great opportunity to get
a head start on your Mother's Day shopping or simply to buy a
unique gift for a special person, while supporting a great
cause. For additional information speak
with Johnnye White or Maria Mukasa immediately following
this Sunday's service. |
| Evening Prayer & Confession Service
Saturday - April 19 - 5:00 p.m.
On the 3rd Saturday of each month,
there will be a quiet service of Evening Prayer, followed by
the opportunity for people to give their confessions if they
so desire.
This will be a short, meditative service with no music or
other embellishments--just a time to quietly sit and meditate,
pray and give thanks to God for his
goodness. |
