Rhoda Brumfield will present a dramatic reading of the Book of James at Grace Church as part of a lay-led 10 am Sunday Worship Service on August 30. A reception will follow.

Rhoda Brumfield, performer, is a Certified Public Accountant passionate about God's Word. Her professional career as owner of a computer consulting firm ended 10 years ago when God called her outside her comfort zone to be involved in ministry.

She became Office Manager and Bookkeeper for Friends of the Groom Christian Drama Company and then director of the 12th Fret Ministry. Her work in these ministries came to a close in the fall of 2003 when she began work on her Masters of Divinity at Asbury Theological Seminary, graduating May of 2006.

She is currently a candidate for ordination in the Presbyterian Church.
