Telling Your Story

One of the goals of Grace Church this year is to develop and practice ways of bringing deeper spirituality and healing into the lives of our parishioners and our neighbors.

"Telling our story" is one way of doing that. Each week after the announcements, a parishioner tells their story of a time they experienced God. So far, three people have told their story: Roger Perna, Wanda Miller and David Mukasa.

Adults are not the only ones to experience God; children do, too. This coming Sunday Jamanuel Thrower will tell his story. Come and hear how God has touched one of our young people.

Support Asked to Stop War Criminal Joseph Kony

Absalom Jones During last Sunday's Snack 'n Chat, David Mukasa asked Grace members and friends to support the Kony2012 effort to arrest war criminal Joseph Kony and to disarm the Lord's Resistance Army and to bring the child soldiers and slaves home again.

You can see one of the most-watched internet films and learn more about this effort at kony2012.com
Thank You Very MuchThanks ...

...to Barbara Todd for donating the greens on the altar this week in honor of Belinda Perna.

We're sure that we've left out many of the people who deserve our thanks. Let us know who we've missed by clicking eGraceNotes@GraceCollegeHill.org.

Promoting Grace Church for Weddings

Marjorie Shadd wrote this nice piece promoting use of Grace Church for weddings.  When you hear about people planning a wedding, let them know that Grace may be an option for them.

Absalom JonesGrace Church is a charming stone building with the feeling of an English village church. It is perfect for the small, intimate wedding that blends the deeply spiritual tone of this special event with the romance and elegance of the historical past.

The building is located on Belmont Avenue and Hamilton Avenue in College Hill.

There is a small parking lot behind the church and easy street parking.

The Worship Area is 4400 square feet with seating for 176 persons. If additional guests are expected the pew space can be augmented with chairs.

Brides and their attendants may dress in our Parlor.  The Groom and groomsmen may utilize a room on the ground floor.

If the Bride and Groom would like to they may rent our air-conditioned Great Halll which is 2700 square feet.  A dais is located on the south end of the hall and there is a kitchen adjacent. The capacity of the room is 200 persons.

See more photos on the Grace Center page on our website.

If interested, call the church office at 513-541-2415.

To see the church with people in it, visit a Sunday service at 10 am.
