Special Pledging Campaign Edition

This special eGraceNotes edition is devoted to the current Grace Church Pledging Campaign, which will culminate in "Celebration Sunday" on October 28.
The Theme is Thanksgiving

The theme of this year's pledge drive is Thanksgiving. We're looking at our annual giving as a thanksgiving offering to God, reflecting our gratitude for all that he has done for us--which is everything! Instead of feeling obligated to give to our church, we hope that we can develop the attitude that we are praising God with our gifts.

During each of the Sunday services starting September 16, members gave a short "Thanksgiving Moment," telling how their thanksgiving is linked to their giving to Grace Church. Our members have some very different--and interesting--perspectives!
  • Read Roger Perna's "moment" here.
  • Read Ken Lyon's "moment" here.
  • Read Grace Staples' "moment" here.
  • Read Wanda Miller's "moment" here.
  • J White delivered an impressive "moment" this past Sunday. It hasn't yet been transcribed, but it will appear in a future issue.

Think about what you are thankful for.

You are Invited to "Celebration Sunday"

Sunday, October 28, is "Celebration Sunday" at Grace Church. This is a culmination of our annual pledge drive, and also a time when we will gather as family to celebrate all the goodness that God has provided us this year.

A "Celebration Bruncheon" will follow the regular 10am Sunday service. The brunch will feature egg casseroles, breakfast meats, assorted pastries, sweets, and beverages. All members and friends of Grace Church are cordially invited to be in attendance. The brunch should begin at approximately 11:30 AM.

RSVP the church office (office@gracecollegehill.org, 513-541-2415) if you will be attending. We hope to see you there!

What if You Can't Be Here October 28?

If you're not able to join us for  "Celebration Sunday" on October 28, but still want to participate, here's what you can do:

  • If you'd like to share your thanksgiving thoughts, either for what God has done for you, or for what Grace Church means to you, email them to treasurer@gracecollegehill.org.
  • If you'd like to make a monetary pledge to Grace Church in support of next year's program, simply email treasurer@gracecollegehill.org with the amount you want to pledge, and the frequency (one-time, weekly, monthly, etc.). And don't forget to include your name and address in your email.
  • If you'd like to make an immediate gift to support Grace Church, click here to use your credit card to make a contribution, or mail your check to Grace Church at the address at the bottom of this page.
