This Year's Thanksgiving Offering:  Stuffing Mix!

This Thanksgiving season we are collecting boxes of stuffing mix to be given to Christ's Community in College Hill to include in the the food boxes that they give to people in the neighborhood at Thanksgiving time.  We are talking about the 6 ounce boxes of stuffing. One of the brand names is "StoveTop," but any brand is just fine.

If you shop for boxes of stuffing, please bring them to church.  You also could donate money or check, and we will do the shopping for you.  Write "Thanksgiving Food Pantry" on the memo portion of your check.  Thank you for your willingness to help the community.

 Thanks to ...

... Don Wake for filling in for Bob while he was on vacation last week. As usual, Don did an awesome job. He made himself available for every need and even came in on Monday night to help the polling staff set up for voting.
Two Healing Services Coming Up Soon

This Wednesday November 14 is the Celebration of Wholeness and Healing at Grace Church. It is a come as "you are" party. Really, just as you are! The real authentic you is the person we want! There is no need for masks or being "churchy" or anything else.

If you have drums or other fun instruments to play, do bring them. Also, open hearts and minds and healing hands are always welcome.

We start at 7pm with a brief liturgy. Currently, my plan for the message will be on expectations and attitudes and how those play into the healing process. Have you ever heard of the Nocebo Factor?

Also on Wednesday evening, there's a community dinner in the Great Hall starting about 5:30 that runs till about 8. Come and get a free meal and chat with folks.

And if you want another healing service, don't forget I will be leading one on Sunday November 18th at 10am at Grace.
