A spiritual home where all are welcome; a healing place in a broken world.

Advent is Ending--Christ is Coming!

Sunday is the last Sunday of Advent. Our four weeks of anticipation of the coming of Christ into the world--and into our lives--are almost over.

Four advent candles are lit this Sunday, leaving just one more--the Christ Candle--to be lit on Christmas.
See You at Grace this Christmas?

Christmas begins Tuesday at Grace Church, with a Christmas Eve service at 7:30 pm. Our second Christmas worship service will be held on Wednesday--Christmas Day--at 11 am.

Christmas continues through the 12 days of Christmas, ending January 6.  Grace will continue to celebrate Christmas on the two Sundays in the Christmas season--December 29 and January 5 at 10 am.
Christmas Greetings from Our Bishop
Altar Flowers

The flowers on the altar this Sunday are given in loving memory of Judy Jenne by Bill Jenne.

The flowers on the altar last Sunday were given in remembrance of Cloma Partin's heavenly birthday--she went to be with Our Lord on December 8--by her daughter, Rhonda Sharp.

You can donate a bouquet of flowers on the altar on any Sunday in honor of or in memory of anyone. The suggested donation is $35. Just sign on the flower sheet by the door or call the church office or email spikelyon@gmail.com or donate online at  gracecollegehill.org.

  Thanks to ...

... Judy Handy for the extra work she did to get worship bulletins for the holidays done in addition to our regular bulletins. And, thanks to the bulletin team for working together to get them printed.

... Ken Lyon for implementing Wanda Miller's Grace Christmas Card idea. Grace Staples says she loved sending them to members who may not be able to get to Grace for Christmas.

Even though everyone who does something special may not be recognized each week (although we do try), we are aware of how hard members of this congregation work together to keep this church going.  Most of the work done in this church is by volunteers, so thank you to every one in this congregation for keeping our dream of Grace Church alive by your consistent contributions.  None of us could do it without all of us working together.

Person Sought to Provide Child Care During Sunday Worship

We are seeking a person to provide child care during Sunday worship. If you know of someone with the skills to care for a few infants and very young children, please contact J White (513-532-9362, mizwone@gmail.com). This will be a paid position.

We realize that there may be Sundays when there are no children to care for, however we believe that it's very important that this service be provided for those parents who want it.
 Coming Attractions
